Fenmouth

Fenmouth is a fictional city on Coldmere County's eastern estuary, near the mouth of the Ash River. Its map includes a harbor, a ferry route and Fen Island offshore. Fenmouth is announced as part of Somatry: Coldmere Stories.

Where the river loses its banks

At Fenmouth, the river's direction is easy to draw and harder to experience. Mud, tide and weather alter the usable edges of the harbor. In the county fiction, a landing can be familiar without being dependable. Residents learn the sound of a boat touching a different step and the sight of a rope tied higher than it was the day before.

The town between departures

Ferry Reach faces the crossing toward Fen Island. Reedbank is the inhabited edge of the tidal ground, with raised walks and close-set homes. Cooper's Basin holds repair work and stores, while Estuary Ward gathers the rooms where soundings, weather and shipments are recorded. These are original districts developed for the archive, joining the harbor and ferry landmarks already visible on the world map.

Two copies of a crossing

A ferry office records a departure. A person waiting on the other side remembers an arrival. Between them lie the tide, an unexpected stop and all the details that a timetable leaves out. Fenmouth's stories dwell in that ordinary interval. They introduce the city's atmosphere without opening a case file. The announced expansion will feature all nine county cities; additional gameplay and purchase information will appear in the DLC announcements.
