An address after the water moves
Lowwater's old directions continue to describe a shore. The shore itself no longer agrees. In the county fiction, a lakeside window looks out across ground that was once inaccessible, and a boat shed stands far from anything that can float a boat. The city has not simply become a ruin. It has to make ordinary arrangements around a landscape whose old purpose remains visible.
The dam and the streets below
Spillway Ward holds the dam approaches and service rooms. Old Shore follows the former waterline, where shops and homes face a changed view. Siltmarket has grown around practical reuse and repair. Survey Hill looks out over the basin from higher ground. The four original districts offer different answers to the same question: what does a town keep when the thing it was built around recedes?
A map can go out of date quietly
Water marks, survey sheets and storage labels give Lowwater a written history that is both precise and incomplete. A measurement can be correct for the day it was taken while becoming a poor guide to the next journey. These location stories explore that tension without presenting a playable case or a real environmental history. For the expansion's confirmed scope and future updates, follow the Coldmere Stories announcement.
