Buenaventura, Efren. 77. Played trumpet in the resort bands at Marina Sol for thirty winters; for eleven summers, by the month in room 3 of the Whimbrel, a motel on Cinder Row, Palewater. Found in the motel's back lot at twenty to one on a Tuesday afternoon in July, three years ago, by its owner. Dr. Marchetti: struck by a vehicle. Window 4:00 to 11:00 AM. It was 89 F at first light. The Palewater police put it at his walk at first light, found no vehicle and no witness, and closed it with the driver unknown. His phone went to property locked. The lab has opened it. This year Palewater records asked the Whimbrel for the housekeeping sheet for that Tuesday, and three people where they were that morning. The housekeeping sheet stands. Three names. -V
