Sandham, Eudora. 63. Picture framer, lessee of Station 7 on the Lakeline, nearly seven years. Found at five past eight on a Friday morning in June, more than four and a half years ago, in the station's ticket hall, by her apprentice. Dr. Bell: a tablet not her own, taken at the station the evening before. Window 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday. Fog. The team had nobody at the station after noon but her, by every account given, and filed it open that August. Her phone went to property locked. The lab has opened it. This year the Bureau found three rolled sheets from her bench in the police store's oversize rack, never copied into the file, and asked the county deeds office for the deed and the twelve leases. Her messages stand. Four names. -V
